Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Fossilhog LLC ("we") collects when you use SweepQueue, why, and the choices you have. We don't sell your personal information.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, password (stored only as a secure hash by our sign-in provider), birth year, state, time zone, and optional display name.
• Your activity in SweepQueue: sweepstakes you track or hide, when you mark an entry, private sweeps and notes you add, collections, wins you log, sweepstakes you submit or report, and your notification settings.
• Devices for notifications: if you turn on push notifications, a push address for your browser or phone.
• Technical data: basic logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) kept to run and secure the service.

What we don't collect: we never enter sweepstakes for you and never see or store what you type into sponsors' entry forms.

How we use it

• to run your account, queue, reminders, and wins log;
• to show sweepstakes you're eligible for (by age and state);
• to send the notifications you choose, which you can change any time in notification settings;
• to review submissions and reports, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure;
• to process payments if you subscribe (card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us).

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run SweepQueue, under contracts that limit their use of your data:

• hosting and database (Railway, Supabase);
• push and email delivery (browser push services, Expo, and our email provider);
• payments (Stripe, Apple, Google) if you subscribe;
• AI processing of public sweepstakes pages (Anthropic) — this processes sponsors' pages, not your personal information.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety. If SweepQueue is sold or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

Advertising

If the free plan shows ads, they will be described here before they launch, including any choices you have about personalized ads. Paid plans are ad-free.

Your choices and rights

• Access and download: download a copy of your data from Account.
• Correct: update your details in Account, or contact us.
• Delete: delete your account from Account. This permanently removes your profile, tracking, entries, wins, private sweeps, and notifications. Public listings you submitted stay, without your name.
• Notifications: turn any reminder type, push, or email off in notification settings.

Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights. We honor them for all users. To make a request, email support@sweepqueue.com.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep it longer by law. Backups age out on their normal schedule.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and database rules that limit each account to its own data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Age

SweepQueue is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

Changes

If we change this policy in a significant way, we'll tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
