Not all sweepstakes work the same way, and knowing the difference changes how you play them.
One-time entry
You enter once and you're done. Great for when you're short on time. Enter, forget about it, and check your email.
Daily entry
You can enter once a day for the whole promotion. These are where the odds are, if you keep up with them. Two flavors:
- Calendar day: resets at midnight (watch the time zone).
- Every 24 hours: resets 24 hours after your last entry, so enter at the same time each day.
Find them on our daily entry list.
Weekly or monthly entry
Same idea as daily, just less often. Easy to forget because they don't come up every day. Put them on your calendar or let something remind you.
Instant win
You find out right away if you won, usually by playing a quick game or entering a code. Often lots of small prizes, sometimes with a grand prize drawing at the end too. See instant win games.
Multiple drawings
Some sweepstakes pick winners every week or month. Entering early can get you into more of the drawings, depending on whether entries carry over. The rules will say.
SweepQueue tracks each type for you: daily ones come back into your queue when they reset, weekly ones when the week turns over, and one-time ones drop off once you've entered.
